Foundational pillars
Founda-
tional pillars
Foundational pillars of BRICS WBA South Africa —Trade, Investment, Capacity Building, and Technology Transfer Partnerships—guide our efforts to build a dynamic and inclusive ecosystem that supports the economic and social empowerment of women. By connecting women entrepreneurs and professionals across the BRICS countries, we facilitate the exchange of ideas, resources, and best practices, leading to innovative solutions and new business ventures. Our networks support women in navigating the complexities of international trade and investment, enhancing their capacity to compete in the global market.
Through targeted capacity-building initiatives and partnerships, business-to-business exchange programs, and access to cutting-edge technologies, markets, and funding streams, we empower women to thrive in the global market.
The South African chapter of the BRICS WBA has expanded its economic cooperation footprint by establishing BRICS WBA country centres in Lesotho, Zambia, Mozambique, and Zimbabwe. This expansion underscores our commitment to fostering regional collaboration, promoting cross-border trade and investment, and driving sustainable economic development. Together, we are building a united and empowered community of women entrepreneurs and leaders who contribute to the economic growth and social progress of the BRICS and Africa nations and the broader global economy.
